Surely people will think I have a problem with Tom Cruise because he’s a Scientologist, but I could care less what he does when he’s not entertaining me.  The sad fact is Tom Cruise hasn’t entertained any of us in quite a while.

Tom’s been in some great movies, Top Gun, Rain Man, A Few Good Men, The Firm, etc.  Unfortunately, I would argue he’s only been in one good, original movie (meaning no sequels) in the past decade.  Some of you may disagree but when you compare 1986-1996 to 1996-2006, it’s pretty clear his career has really tanked.

Why?  I’m not here to play Freud.  All I know is breaking up with Nicole Kidman didn’t do him any good.  I think he should drop to his knees and go crawling back to her.  Maybe then Katie Holmes could finally be free.
